Leased from TEL on to USA Truck

This is weird. Banning the guy is one thing but taking the thread down with useful info is pretty questionable. Was there a good reason the thread was taken down???

I have no doubt he made a boat load of money considering the market and the fact that he ran all the time. I think that gravy train was about to come to a end and I for one wanted to see how he handled the situation. As far as how he should or shouldn't have ran his business, you guys do realize that there is more than one way to skin a cat, right?

 

I think the point that staff was trying to make is this. The guy was bragging saying he made all this money with his LP. Money that unless he's teaming isn't anyway he's making. Now isn't the time to be trying to boast and all that. He had his own thread that got locked down. Then brought all of that nonsense to this thread. He was warned, if you see the posts even in this thread he was warned several times. Then went on a tangent about how TTR profits off him sending emails. I doubt very seriously they're spying on everybody's iPhone, Android, tablet or computer and hacked into it to collect anything when you send an email to anybody. That idea is just ridiculous. If he's doing well as he says he is with LP more power to him. But one thing he didn't like was the fact that, he isn't a real owner operator. He's stuck to that carrier or at best other carriers TEL will let him move to.

 

Isn't his thread still available? I'm not familiar with what happens once a thread is locked, maybe it isn't visible anymore but if it's not gone forever then it might still be up just have to find it. But if it was taken down all together the guy did ask for his posts and thread to be removed. I don't know why, but he did. You'll find it in this thread.

 

I had a truck lease thru TEL in my own name and I ran the spot market thru a small carrier, and I could take that truck ANYWHERE. There is not such a thing as a "real" owner operator. Sorry, it's a ignorant statement.

TTR seems to have a huge problem with believing the fact that just because you don't know, or haven't heard, or haven't done it, doesn't mean it can't be done or that somebody hasn't made it work. Mark is a perfect example, he obviously was a workaholic and it showed in his numbers when the market was strong.

 

I tried looking, I don't see it.

I don't think anybody is jealous. Just nobody needed to see a gloating lease purchase guy claiming he was making 400k in 7 months.
