Landstar So Far

I had suspicions that this was the case.

 

I just want to apologize @Dave_in_AZ. As a non-Landstar American it was insensitive for me to use the L-word. I stand with all my Landstar-American brothers and sisters even those non-binary ones. Please accept my heartfelt and deepest regrets in this matter.

 

Bud I don’t get offended about what people think about the company I’m leased to.
Is 250k setting the world on fire? Probably not, but doing it in 5 months works well for me.

 

Are team loads paying a good premium right now? Every couple of years, my wife and I talk about coming over, but the numbers have to make sense of course. It would be nice to get a sample of rates somehow.

 

If you’re ever in my neck of the woods I’ll be happy to let you play with the load board.

 

That would be nice. We have done a couple of the virtual meetings in the past, but we were drowned out by people asking dumb questions they should have already had the answer to.

 

No, not on the spot market at least. Unless it’s some sort of specialty or last minute gotta go load. Generally though as team loads become less, they begin to eat away at solo loads and team prices become nearly the same.

Edit: I missed that this is a Landstar thread. I don’t know anything about LS but I’d be surprised if it’s any different.
