    Having some issues with my Freightliner. Yesterday, speedometer stopped working and my rpm only go up to 1800 and then cuts out with no pedal response until I shift gears. It’s a 12.7 Detroit with a 10 speed. Had a pm done around 1000 miles ago. Going to check it out later today but was hoping to see if anyone has ran into a similar issue, so I can narrow it down. Any help is appreciated. Thank you guys.

    I don't know if the engine ECM reads road speed or not but if both issues started at the same time I'd maybe take a look at the speed sensor on the transmission tailshaft.

    I was reading about that being a probability. Yes, both issues started at the same time. I’ll definitely check that out. Thank you
