Lake effect snow can move in fast in upstate New York all it takes is a sudden change in wind direction.
One minute skies are blue, the next minute it's a whiteout dropping a couple inches an hour.

What makes you think we care what you would do ?

 

This was warned looooong in advance.

 

Happens on I94 often. Lake effect snow off lake Michigan clan go to white out with no warning at all and then comes the big one

 

Whay are all these drivers thinking?

 

My folks tried to dispatch me to Jacksonville FL on the day the latest hurricane was forecasted to hit. I was like, "Um, no."

Do you people ever read or listen to the news?

 

I think every truck driver should be checking the weather forecasts, or just simply the national forecast.

You don't want to take loads into places where there's about to be a blizzard or hurricane.

 

I went into Oswego a couple years ago
Drove in and blue skies and sunshine and no snow

Was there maybe 3 hours and when I got about 10 miles down the road heading to 90 there were cars and trucks in the ditches, probably a foot of snow

I got through all that and maybe another 10-20 miles down people had green grass

 

Just a little snow, there's 18 inches of it on my lawn already. No getting away from it, gotta live with it 4-5 months a year.

Heck the road down my street takes 2 days to get plowed after a snowfall most times and has currently been iced up for a few days now.
