Serious question do any of you watch news or check weather apps.
I seriously want to know why drivers keep putting themselves in these situations. I for one will sit and wait out a snow storm even if it's an inch, why not because I can't drive in the stuff it's because of the other knuckleheads out there that can't. Personally I'm from Chicago and have driven through plenty of snow storms but if I heard of that Buffalo storm I would've took the week off.
And I get it if the wheels ain't moving you ain't earning and this is where we should get a minimum snow day pay.
I would much rather be stuck at home then stranded in a 5 foot snow drift for 2 days, either way you ain't making no money
to the truckers that got stuck in Buffalo

Drove in and blue skies and sunshine and no snow
Was there maybe 3 hours and when I got about 10 miles down the road heading to 90 there were cars and trucks in the ditches, probably a foot of snow
I got through all that and maybe another 10-20 miles down people had green grassFlat Earth Trucker, Stringb8n, Another Canadian driver and 10 others Thank this. -
Just a little snow, there's 18 inches of it on my lawn already. No getting away from it, gotta live with it 4-5 months a year.
Heck the road down my street takes 2 days to get plowed after a snowfall most times and has currently been iced up for a few days now.Last edited: Nov 20, 2022
