They were looking to expand their fleet, hiring on O/O's with older trucks not having an age restriction about half a year ago. Never called them back but seemed like a nice small-medium sized company. Think they had around 50 trucks/owner ops
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Bottom of the barrel type freight, new few guys who worked there and nearly went broke. Did have much good things to say about thec place. I believe the kids run the show now and it went down hill since......
Again nothing more then trucker talk.....BOLIdelivery, EvertonP and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
We just hired a couple of their guys in Edmonton, pretty much the story, they were down to the cords on the drives at Orientation.BOLIdelivery and Another Canadian driver Thank this.

I just spoke with those guys out of curiosity -- and yah, do not look like the best. Their pay is very low and the run driver facing cameras too; so if you like to be watched, then they are for you. =)
BOLIdelivery, Another Canadian driver and BigHossVolvo Thank this. -
When are people gonna wake up and realize those rear facing cameras are Illegal and an invasion of privacy. These companies are only inforcing this policy to save a few bucks on insurance that they probably don't even pass on to the driverAnother Canadian driver, BobO1176, Bodhi and 1 other person Thank this.

I 100% agree! I have no idea why people are not fighting back -- it screams control and distrust right off the bat!Another Canadian driver, BobO1176 and upnorthwpg Thank this.

How is it illegal? Which law states that? It's a private business, if that's how they want to run their business, so be it. Don't like it, don't work there, simple enough.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
It’s a violation of cdn federal privacy laws. If your carrier runs interprovincial it’s also a violation of the PIPEDA act. Sysco was forced to remove them, any company with them and drivers file a labour board complaint looses.Another Canadian driver and BigHossVolvo Thank this.

Thanks for the insights guys looks like I gotta look for a different company
Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
