Yes they grow very quick. I have to get cut every two - three weeks and that was a few days before his appointment. I try to keep them short that way when he is standing on my lap he don’t tear my legs up to bad.

    cke and Siinman Thank this.

The gold star is for domestic travel by airplane. In order to fly on an airplane, when you go to get your ticket at the ticket counter and check your luggage, you now have to have that gold star on it. On May 3, 2023, it will be required for all travelers over the age of 18 to have a Real ID compliant driver's license in order to fly domestically. Why they're requiring it, I have no idea. I haven't been able to find the answer on this. It's coming from Homeland Security and the TSA.

Yes, you're pre-enrolled in TSA pre-check. You get to bypass airport security. You go through the fast lane. You don't have to take off your shoes, light outerwear such as light jackets, you don't have to take off your belt, you don't have to empty out your carry on such as your laptop bag, etc. It takes anywhere between 5 and 30 mins to get through depending on how busy it is.

Yep. And having the Hazmat endorsement will do the same thing too. Qualifies as TSA Pre Check

I did some googling on that. Turns out it's not so clear cut as that. There's a process that you can use your TWIC to get into the security fast lane at the airport but if you just show up with your TWIC card thinking it's going to happen you're gonna get shuffled to the 30 minute line where you're taking your belt off and removing your shoes like all the other cattle, for not following procedure. https://www.tsa.gov/news/press/rele...e-holders-can-use-their-credentials-obtain-ts
