Hello all! I'm new to this site and to being a trucker's wife. I joined this site at my hubs' request. He thinks this site will help me connect with people who know what I'm going through and hopefully I can meet people from near me. It's been a while since I used a message board, so bear with me.

I'm a full time college student in my late 20's who's trying to survive living with my parents while my husband finishes trucking school 1400 miles away. :banghead: Some days it's really hard for me. So hopefully this site will help me out! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi, RicksChick, and welcome to the forum! Be sure to check out The Ladies Room -- it's where a lot of the women gather to get answers and offer support. Be sure to read some of the other forums as well. You'll gather a lot of good information that will help you understand what your hubby is encountering in his new career.

Welcome to the forum. There are wonderful, supportive people here, and as a wife you will especially find lots of support and comraderie in the ladies forum. Lots of these ladies have been where you are or still are there - its hard to have hubby gone. We're always here to lend an ear (or eyes since we read what you say :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:). Welcome.
