Not every trucking company reports to DAC. I just assumed Schneider used DAC. How long have you had a CDL? How long ago were you unfairly terminated? I don't know how often DAC updates or how long does it take for a trucking company to report a termination. My last DAC report, years ago, did not show my long-time employer. You might ask in the Schneider forum if SNI uses DAC. You might have a friend call SNI and verify your employment details and see what SNI is telling other trucking companies about your time there.pumpkinishere Thanks this.

@DeanOfMac --
Another Schneider veteran here.
Now.....I do hazmat tanker duty, hauling fuel (but NOT with Schneider).
tscottme, in post #25 above, is correct.
Not every carrier uses DAC.
Schneider instead uses another called, "Driver iQ".
The address that I have for them is:
4500 South 129th East Ave
Suite #127
Tulsa, OK 74134
If you like, I can PM you ther phone/fax number.
The above info came straight off of a Driver iQ report that I have on myself.
The above is also why DAC told you they have no employment/driver history on you.
Contact them (just do a Google search), and get your "employment history report" from them....and see what Schneider put in there about you.
If there's any "dirt" on you....it's very likely in that report.

Driver iQ operates (of course) under the guidelines of the "Fair Credit Reporting Act".
Thus--as others above have suggested, you can challenge anything in that report, as appropriate.
My "vote" sez.......for you to do the above--BEFORE you apply to ANY OTHER CARRIER.

Thank you for the info! I went to Driver IQ, made an account, and submitted the required documents. Doyon know if they have an appeal process if I need to submit evidence?
tscottme Thanks this. -
I'm reluctant to say anything. I mean, why start? But you did put your opinion out here, and mine is no worse than yours.
Currently the majority of Covid deaths are vaccinated. There are healthy people dying daily , dropping dead soon after getting vaccinated. Young people, who incidentally were not at risk of dying, are having myocarditis issues. My niece, 22, had to get it because of being a med student, had to go to the er because chest pain. Myocarditis and she's had chest pain ever since.
The CDC is the biggest joke! They linked to articles calling ivermectin a "horse dewormer" and gave best practice advice not prescribe it, despite having studies in NIH that it may have been effective. They're being sued by doctors who claim the best practice advice was tantamount to saying "you may not prescribe it", then the CDC said "we never said you couldn't"
Ok, I've said my piece, carry on.xlsdraw, mustang190, Crude Truckin' and 4 others Thank this. -
Now, back on topic....
@DeanOfMac --
I can't say for 100% sure about how they handle appeals...since I've never done that with them before.
But....since they operate in cooperation with the Fair Credit Reporting Act--it's probably safe to assume that they do in fact have an appeal process.
You might give Driver iQ a call, and just ask.
OR--it may stated somewhere on their website (for example: if they have a "FAQ" section--it may well be in there--and it may give the particulars).
The bottom line: once this problem is properly addressed--then I think that other carriers out there will take an interest in you, if you do want to drive commercially again.
At the risk of overstating the obvious--I would definitely NOT go back to Schneider.
There are indeed so many better choices.
Chinatown has (above) offered some good suggestions.
It's probably safe to say there are still others.
You do have a big advantage here, that you may be overlooking....or just not aware.
Even with a recession underway--it's still very much a driver's market out there.
The simple truth is that carriers need you, worse than you need them.
Think about it....
