Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

I have efs fuel card.... I thought to get discounts u need big volume..everyone that posts discounts is leased on somewhere.. I am on my own..How is that possible with 1 truck

 

U should lease on. I'll be ###### if it isn't cheaper in every single way. I've had my own numbers, and the $1500 a month insurance payment, and compliance bs, and billing. Now I pay 10 percent and don't deal with the bs, pick my own freight, pay less for fuel. I'm not even considering going on my own numbers again. I pay an extra 10 percent for a reefer, fuel included. I'm very happy with this arrangement. The only downside is I get #####ed at if I cut someone off, where before I would call the person who called to complain 100 times over the next week

 

Everyones different. I will never be leased on again.... I will sell the truck and trailer before i do that.

 

If they raise general liability to 2 million dollars you may very well do that..... I don't see single truck owner operators who are fully independent lasting beyond another 5 years. I can't go into why on here because of political

 

Like which one? My RTS gives only 20-30 cents …

 

Could care less what they do. Plenty other things to make money at in life. My life dont revolve around trucking

I am a one man guy with own aurthoirty and get pretty good discounts.

 

What card do u use

 

You need to do your home work with them. Might just be on the wrong set up.
