Well here in NC they wanted us to read out every sign we past, speed limits, bridge heights and stuff like that. Don't shift on train tracks or During turns. Don't Coast!

Try not to be nervous and good luck!

    1) Don't crash, 2) Don't hit any telephone poles, 3) Don't crush any pedestrians, 4) Don't say, "Oh ####, where did that car come from?", 5) Don't say, "I musta skipped over that chapter", (Sorry Landshark's Son, hope you don't mind a little fun from a wannabe). Don't worry, you'll do just fine!:biggrin_25514:

My examiner told me "Don't run over a cop or go over a curb and you will pass". That was almost the exact wording out of his mouth...Oh, and don't hit the fence post coming back into the DMV lot, which had happened twice in the week before!

It was easier with him in the truck than with my instructor. He was very relaxed and said he wanted me to pass.

And the part about running over a cop? Well, he was a prior police officer, so I can understand him saying that...

Watch your mirrors and signage.I don't know about calling out everything, but the examiner will at the least ask at some point "What did that sign we just passed say?"Keep your head on a swivel, and concentrate on the mechanics of what you are doing.I have seen more fail for trying to be quick, than trying to be right.

Relax, Relax, Relax, use the restroom before arriving.Chew some gum if you do.Make sure to eat a light meal.

Don't "bless an axle" use the restroom before you start the pre-trip part. If you must eat before your test...avoid garlic, or any highly spiced foods...a gas attack in the cab with the examiner won't boost your score!:biggrin_25525:
