In the big picture, does that really matter?

So anyway I hope you are looking for another job. Dont know your situation but you can easily hop on over to another better starter company and get hired. If they ask, explain to them you are currently an indentured servant and are looking to break free. You must not of researched WE prior to employment.

No truer words have been spoken here.

Depends upon the company. Here, we prefer to hire our drivers for the office staff, as those who have been there understand what the drivers go through. Recruiting, safety, dispatch... almost all are former drivers. Only the accounting and billing departments are staffed with outsiders due to the nature of the work, and even some of those are relatives of the drivers here.

GYPSY65, Boondock and Dennixx Thank this.

Saying who you work for is helpful for people determining who they would like to work for.
If you look into a members past posts you can get an idea of who they work for. I did so I know but it's not my place to say. But I can say I'm a new hire with Linde. I started in October and immediately had 5 PTO and vacation days as well. Holidays are ridiculously paid so senior drivers snatch them up.
If you have been driving for more than a year and have a clean record start applying to companies that you DON'T qualify for. All they can say is no. Many will simply say "not at this time". But a few that need drivers bad enough may just say yes.
In my personal opinion Linde shouldn't of hired me based solely on my lack of recent driving experience. But they are giving me a chance because they are in urgent need of drivers. I'll work hard and make them and myself good money. Win-win.
Don't settle, good luck to you.

LOL, Been there Done it, with US Xpress about 6-7yrs ago, stayed out for 8 months all on a recruiters tale, had me thinking I'd be making 2k a week back then(Being Brand New), Sold everything at the time as I was in a tremendous amount of debt about 115k from past business when I was in my 20's on CC(completely stupid.) Live, Learn and Grow. Thinking (this is a legitimate company, they wouldn't lie) Teamed multiple times there, and kept thinking it would get better. Making $300-$400 checks, FYI also went to Western for a day orientation about 4yrs ago. Such a Joke... The pay is not there for me to do OTR with any company I have seen, which you would think would be more. Risking your sanity to live in a box dealing with all types of BS while having NO LIFE. Local Ive made $$, Regional I have made some $$$, but I stick to just local now, and am doing 1800-2400 take home, from anywhere 2700-3600 gross, as company driver, doing about 200-400 miles a night. I also have many side hustles and 2 LLC's set up now, that I have time to attend to making another 2-3 k, a month. All in all I have been to 14 different places driving, most I have seen on this site, plus those Euro companies that you can make a quick buck depending how you take to them stealing from you while running insane amounts of miles, but then again all these places, American/Euro all will take off the top to keep you working, and about 2 dozen if you count me wasting $ flying/train/car rentals/buses to orientations, just to leave after they told me anything different then what the recruiter told me. I don't get complacent at any of these outfits, plus trucking was just a way to get out of my debt. Mission Accomplished!, Before I was making 2200-4k to creditors a month, don't have to stress anymore.

Good Luck, from someone whose been to a lot of these companies I see here, all Trial n Error. Learn the market, see what others are getting paid. I don't like working for half the money the next man/woman is making doing the same job. So once I learned how unscrupulous this industry is, I set out to be the next Prime LOL, but realized not for me. All just a stepping stone to where I am now, but always look to go up not down the ladder.

    Seriously Good Luck!!!
