Wow… 34 years… I can safely say I’ll never see those numbers out here and certainly wouldn’t blame anyone for saying enough after a third of a century.
I’m sure you will find something to occupy your time and more enjoyable too. But you better stick around here to stay in touch and laugh at those of us too slow to follow you… lol

Picked up in Columbus, Nebraska going to Four Oaks for tomorrow. Currently taking my 10 in Knoxville. Ran In heavy fog and rain all day long.
After I drop tomorrow, I will most likely just bounce to the house. The wife and I have wedding to attend Saturday. Told dispatch I would leave out Sunday if the could find me something, if not Monday will work. Are we still pulling loads out of B/D in Sumter?
FCC’s fuel discount is good, this time out (8 days) I’ve saved $ 866.22 in fuel off the pump price. That’s an average of $108.00 per fill up.cdavis188, MidWest_MacDaddy, BigR and 2 others Thank this. -
Fuel was down to $3.79 @ 24/7....Petro and PFJ were $4.55 & $4.51 respectively across town.runningman0661 Thanks this.

Right now flying J Ardmore, OK is our cheapest with discount included in this part of the country, Love's in Guthrie only 1 cent more. As usual changes on a daily basis. Our price went down 9 cents since yesterday, but it's been up and down like that for quite awhile. Hopefully it'll stay down longer than a day or two before it goes back up.

I overheard a company driver in the lounge in CB the other day complaining about his fuel solution. He said " their couldn't be that much of a difference from one truck stop to the next ". umm.... public service announcement: THERE #### SURE IS!!!.. perfect example, last Friday when I was waiting almost 5 hours to get trailer tires fixed at the Love's in Denton, TX, I needed fuel on the way home and Ardmore was the cheapest, since I was there so long I figured I'd see how much it was in Denton and get it there since I had time to kill. On that particular day fuel was .26cents more in Denton than Ardmore 70 miles away!.. there are many times our cost is .11-.20cents more at a station across the street from where you're fuel solution may be. It's different at every station and city.

Many don’t comprehend that either…fuel tax also plays a role which they don’t understand either…fuel next to payroll is the biggest expense a company has and has the most control over it as well..cdavis188, MidWest_MacDaddy, F4T6UY and 2 others Thank this.
