They had me drop the load at KC, grab my Columbia SC load which I am a couple of hours away from. As for the Cali load and the Topeka load? I don't know and I don't care! LOL!! Time for my psych meds!

Hi I carry a small dowel rod with me and when I am running low on fuel I can drop it in the tank and see what I have left by holding it up to the back side of the tank

Need some insight on Quickie mfg. in Lumberton, Nc. Have to load there tomorrow, are they strict on appointments? What should I expect, do I need KY jelly?

Sorry, just seeing this now. JC. Been running hard. Mixed bag over there. Sometimes in and out on a d/h. Live load 2-3 hours. Sometimes the d/h turns into a LLD to use an Abilene term. There are worse places to load out than Quickie. Sometimes, they live up to their name, others, not so much.

I’d rather do that. FCC provides Sat Rad but I find myself rarely using it as I hate the radio interface… much rather use the App.

Any Company Drivers able to use the service provided by FCC on the App? I’ve been wanting to ask but again, I rarely use it to remember to ask.

As mentioned, can be a mixed bag but I was just there recently. I was dropping in FO at 1200 on a Monday and hustling down to Lumberton to grab my quickie at 1300 (tight) but turned out it was 1300 on Tuesday. Ya, something happened. Don’t need 24 hours in Lumberton… LOL

So anyway, they were awesome when I showed up a day early. Lady said they couldn’t load me that Monday but they would load the spare trailer overnight and I could roll out at 0700. So I dropped my MT and went for dinner the. shopping.

Came back at like 2030 for a quick status check before bedtime and Kevin said they had just finished loading the spare and if I wanted to hang out for a few minutes that they would have the paperwork ready and I could have it.

So ya, I invested a bit of down time and found a good steak, but they had me rolling some 16 hours sooner than was actually planned.

I was so impressed I called our CSM and ask that she give a pat on the back to the Lady and Kevin to getting me turned around.

But, can’t wait for your story… lol
