No phones while truck is in motion (including headsets).
No bluetooth, either.![]()
This explains (in part, at least) why I see Airgas cryo job openings ALL THE TIME.

Unless something has changed I believe it remains no phone use, bluetooth or otherwise.
Maybe a current driver will answer.59EX Thanks this. -
No phones, not even hands free.59EX Thanks this.

What? Do you expect a driver to have a life outside the truck?
Funny thing is that a quick phone call helps wake up the mind. I also used to listen to pandora, audio books and podcasts. Whatever I could to keep alert.
Now I listen to xm radio and it sucks. They play all the b-side crap that didn't hit the top 20.lual Thanks this. -
What doesn't make sense is when I worked for KAG and was contracted to Airgas, we could use our phones.
lual Thanks this. -
Simple--the safety team at KAG Merchant Gas is (or was?) getting a lot more fiber in their diets.

Airgas is the only one out of the top 5 private carriers in cryo that give a driver a second chance. Get caught on camera with phone at airgas. Its automatic 5 days suspended with no pay. But the second time is automatic termination.
All of these companies have zero phone use policy. And your termination will come about for any small thing with the phone.
