If I’m running alone I keep it at 60. If there is a pack I’ll go a bit faster. I’ve gone past many radar points at 62 without being tagged on I5. But I’ve also seen guys doing ~62 get pulled over. Other highways seem to have different flows.

There is a greater chance of getting pulled over if you are impeding the 4 wheelers. So choose your left lane time carefully, and don’t stay there, get it done and get back to the right.

I’ll do 60 until I get a few trucks passing me to be bait. Then I might bring it up to 63 to 65 depending how far I can see ahead.

Depends on where you’re at, you can run 65 all day long between Blithe and Indio and nobody will bat an eye. You just have to know where they like to sit and slow down in those areas.
I haven’t gotten a speeding ticket in over 10 years

As most drivers said, 60 is fine, over that, watch out. I've live in Ca. most of my life. CHP have always been fair whenever I've dealt with them. They are very well trained.

I run 65 all day long. BUT, I keep my radio(CB) on and constantly watching all my surroundings especially on ramps. I run 99% So.Cal so I know where and where not to push my luck. I’ve even had CHiPs pass me while I was doing 65(snicked up on me)and never looked. In one town, a “She” bear got on the P.A. and told me to slow it down and I was only doing 58 cuz I had seen her coming from behind. Bottom line, if you wanna join the “Outlaw” crew, roll the dice and see what you get.

As long as you don't get caught, yes.

Ive noticed they will pick more on out of state trucks than the local trucks. 9 out 10 in violation won’t come back to Cali to fight the citation.

I wouldn't driver more than 59 mph since the truck speed limit in CA is 55 mph. You don't have to agree with the speed limit signs but you should feel pretty dumb if you read the signs and then volunteer to get a speeding ticket. BTW, when someone replies "I driver X in CA and never got a ticket", it doesn't men YOU won't get a speeding ticket for doing that same speed. The person telling you they drive X won't pay your speeding ticket or take the PSP points for you.
