I have a maxxforce 13 with low oil pressure verified it with manual gauge then took it to dealership and they told me it needs an oil cooler doesn't make any sense. Truck has over 950000 miles and really no problems,
No blowby, overheating, no knocking, no nothing, oil change every 10000 to 15000 miles truck, oil test come back clean, but dealer says oil cooler plugged up. Need some help.

If you got 950000 out of a maxxforce 13 you got a rare duck add a few gallons of lucas and ride

Definitely possible, these engines produce a lot of soot which likes to gum things up

Maybe I was thinking the dealership say that cause the pressure relief valve is in the oil cooler module I was going to replace the oil cooler and the oil pump with the oil pump bushing. I just nervous cause I never had this engine crack open

They probably think that because they must have done oil analysis and no large out metal or type of metal. How many miles on the oil change?
