I wore insulated bib overalls and a good canvas type parka over top. I bought them at a farm supply store in the states west of the Mississippi and within 2 states from Canada. they were not carhartt but looks like them. the overalls lasted 8 to 10 years before being replaced.JoeyJunk, Side pipes and Albertaflatbed Thank this.

Carhartt is garbage, everything rips so easily and doesn’t last. Same with Ariat. Both also made cheaply overseas.
Coldpruf wool underpants keep toy surprisingly warm with just jeans on over it. Also I’m a big fan of Milwaukee “no days off” hoody for working. It’s warm, thin, wind proof with an actual good sized hood. If you want good name brand stuff can’t beat truewerk.JoeyJunk and Side pipes Thank this. -
Snow boots are a good job I have a pair of Cabelas own brand that store in Sidney Nebraska has good selectiontscottme Thanks this.

Berne is a competitor to Carhart. My job gave us Berne's version of the Carhart jacket. It seems tough & warm.
JoeyJunk and Side pipes Thank this. -
You don’t see much Berne stuff in stores like Cabelas tractor supply I have yet to try bass pro stores
JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
Berne is mostly in the farm/fleet stores, as is Key branded gear. Think Bomgaars, Running, etc.tscottme, beastr123, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this.
