Bobtail fault, but I’m thinking brake lights popped up pretty fast, and if that bobtail didn’t sideswipe that truck it could have made a big mess.
I’m guessing bobtail gonna argue that. “I saved lives.” -
Bobtail was folling too close in the first place
flood Thanks this. -
I don't see a bobtail??

The self important road raging 4 wheeler ... that brake checked another four wheeler ... which caused the chain reaction in high speed driving where all involved did not have proper following distance ... "caused" this and should be held liable. But the trash truck did the crashing.
Would I chose to do what the garbage truck driver did .... no, I would have gone right instead of left. But, load shift, messed up brakes, and the right hand curve probably all drove him left under very heavy, very LATE braking.Coover and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
Didn’t have my coffe yet but at a glance it looked like that black suv cut right without a signal and immediately braked. I see this a lot from 4 wheelers. Will have to watch again later when I’m really awake.

My bad. It did look like a bobtail from a rear point of view.

An awful lot of brake lights up ahead, long before the trash truck or semi ever touched their brakes. Eyes up!!!
HoneyBadger67, ‘Olhand and Grumppy Thank this. -
I saw brake lights a good 10 seconds before anything actually happened. If I see more than one set of brakes when driving, my foot is off the accelerator and tapping my own brakes. More than one set of brakes means people will be switching lanes and everyone will be slowing down.
