More barriers, 2 rounds again today

Wish I was done for the yr. Quick trips to WI and IA after dropping off last week's fun. Got a couple of loads of round bales hauled before the weather turned nasty. Head back to WI next week to pick up the next treasure...

 

I guarantee all the "boys" that jumped from van to open deck when the rates were through the roof are screaming for that van back right about now if they're out working in this weather, half of them probably screaming for mommy too!!! Let them all go back to bumping docks they won't be missed by me, that's 4 sure. Separate the Men from the Boys, C'mon!!!

Honestly this might be some of the coldest I've seen, it's really not the temperature the darn wind is relentless. I'll be untarping this load in the morning, looks like the temperature will be the same. Lots of trucks broke down on the interstate today, maybe gelled up. The DEF pumps at this truckstop are froze to, had to buy it in the jug, $33.00. Highway robbery!!!

 

might could pick your tarp off in one piece if its not frozen onto those motors?

 

Last day of barriers today (maybe) was only supposed to last 3 days but this was the fourth. I had to miss a day at my other job…but they’ve been slow so I wasn’t even expecting a call

 

Ya know it’s going to get mighty old setting those ramps up at ever offload…

I guess I’m a flatbeder now. What ever, just long as I don’t have to tarp.
I Didn’t even have to load or secure the first piece. Yard guys are awfully handy sometimes.
