What companies train? I do not have money to go to a school that requires money outright. I want a company that will train me and then I work for them. Anyone?
Trucking companies that train?

Those companies require a year or more employment obligation after training . If you leave for any reason - health , fired due to an accident or violation of company policy they will bill you thousands of dollars for the training .

I have had alot of good luck with Swift, I got a brand new International last Feb have 103k on it now, have had no problems with any of it, try just talking to other drivers at companies like Swift and Werner. Payed off my half of the loan last November, and they're paying me back on it now. Alot of the problems people have with Swift is the driver managers, its hit or miss, Im out of a really good terminal and have no problems what so ever. Luck of the draw!
You can say well, you get fired etc and lose your job, you're stuck with the bill, any school is like that, the advantage of company training, is its usually much cheaper. Mine was only $3600 and like I said its all paid for, now theyre reimbursing me the remainder. At the end of the this year it is pretty much free schooling. I have no reason to quit or look for another job as Im payed well and treated fairly(again good terminal and manager!)So its no problems.
Do alot of research see how the companies run in your area. Each terminal is run slightly different, doesnt matter which company. Its like going to a McDonalds in a different city and finding its either much better or much crappier than the one in your town. I live near Gary, IN but I work out of the Albuquerque NM terminal, some companies might not allow that, but the Gary terminal is horrible!!
P.S Not an ad for Swift, just relating my experiences! Find whats best for you in your area!!!
Good luck on your search
