Puncher, that is the most bizarre statement about Pilot Truck Stops I have ever known. The mental conection between Pilot Truck Stops and Pontius Pilate is forever linked in my mind.

Thank you. From now on, whenever I'm stuck in some awful Pilot, trying to manuver my way thru the most frustrating, poorly designed, glorified convenience store parking lot, I'm going to think of your comment and start laughing.

According to landline flying J has already filed bankruptcy so either the deal goes thru or flying J goes away.

 

The Flying J in Carlisle, PA (Exit 52 I-81) has converted their restuarant into a Denny's. It's done and open. I'm not a huge Denny's fan but I like their menu better than the J's restuarant.

 

I wonder if allowing non-oaying customers to fill up your parking lot so paying customers can't get in to spend money has anything to do with it?

 

There's a Denny's across the shopping center parking lot from my condo, so, I am okay with them BUT on the road, sorry folks, but I still like the Flying J buffet and Denny's won't be doing that.

So, I had better check out on my travels where I can find a Golden Corral, a Old Country Buffet or a Ryan's.
