    That area ices up a lot, another area that gets bad with no warning is around the 106. Lots of wrecks occur in those areas even when the rest of the highway seems ok.

    I used to deliver to several of the chain restaurants, between STL and Spfld, MO. I-44 is like a demarcation line between great southern weather and crappy northern weather pushing down onto it. That road is treacherous, every winter. Unfortunately, most don’t realize it and they get caught out.

    Certainly not very often we see a Walmart company truck inclined
    not often do we see them involved..but times sure have changed in this industry
