I have 4-5 years driving exp since 2015. Mostly dry van & reefer, no DOT reportable accidents or tickets. However, over the last two or so years, Some personal chaos which has given me a gappy work record, with short 2-4 month stints working in trucking and several months off in between. I have never been fired, and I disclosed my full history. But I was just surprised to get turned down on applications over this, the market seems more picky now.
Anyway does anyone know some okay companies who maybe aren’t the best pay but aren’t being picky with OTR? I need a job, and I’m finding it surprisingly hard to get one. Thx!
Who will hire me with clean record and employment gaps?

@NerdTrucker --
Did you try the others mentioned in this thread:
What reefer companies in Western 11? | TruckersReport.com Trucking Forum | #1 CDL Truck Driver Message Board (thetruckersreport.com)
Apparently--those short 2-4 month stints, followed by employment gaps....have some carriers spooked.
For your next gig--you might wanna stay there a while (longer).

Have you tried this carrier:
Extended Hiring Area | You Could Be Eligible To Drive For K&B | Drive K&B (drive4kb.com)
...or maybe this one:
Company Driver | CDN Logistics, Inc. | 888.236.0515 (cdndrivingjobs.com)
Something else to think about: if you are really that big of a nerd--that could well be a good part of your problem, also.....
