“Cashier was on their phone for 3 hours while 473 of us stood in line. Parking barely big enough for a Toyota Camry. Got food poisoning here. It wasn’t the room temperature Subway sandwich I ate two days after purchasing.”

When I open trucker path, its to find a place to park. All I care about is if there is a space open or not.
I have showered in places in mexico that would make a lot of the truckers here burst into tears. I dont give a rip if there is a hairball in the shower drain.
If the food does not look good, thats fine because I mostly cook in the truck anyway
My only beef is with the jacknancys that say the lot is full when it clearly is not

I use it almost every day.. Never left a review but occasionally will read them for a giggle.

Miserable people love to spread their misery.

In all seriousness, I understand that sometimes lot/parking status can be misleading. 5 trucks may stop in to grab something to eat. 15 minutes later, they're gone. Now 5 spaces are open. So I can see how this can be problematic at times.
Like you though, I do rely on the information provided to make decisions. It can be frustrating.

Another thing sometimes is, I find myself looking at the lot/parking status, then later see that that was 4 months ago... lol. I really have to pay attention.

In reality, as far as reviews go, I have learned from all reviews to pay less attention to the few sporadic bad reviews & look at the good reviews to make overall decisions about a place or product.

    3/15/2015...
    "Staff was snappy & rude!"

Yeah... Suzie just found her girlfriend in bed with the guy down the street that morning.
That doesn't say anything about her attitude today or the other 5 staffers in there. So these type comments are usually discounted for the most part... unless they are really consistent.

I will guarantee the people leaving the reviews didn’t have the backbone to bring up the alleged issues to the management. They just waddle to the truck and climb inside and start typing away.

Modern society. Just a big clogged toilet with turds floating by lol.

I never read the reviews. I do look at the parking prediction. As far as I’m concerned that’s the only value the app provides.

I do expect that of Pilot/FJ and Love’s. They should have contracted service providers for the essentials, as it only makes sense. Those businesses without power or water/sewer are closed businesses losing revenue.

A previous employer had contracts with big businesses, like Walgreens, where we had to immediately respond to any roof-related issues. They call, we haul!
