Well shoot, that ain't no good.! I'm going to take that info & try to use it as warning for myself..

Wonder if it was my body controlling what taste "good" in effort of self preservation?
When my Lady got sick in mid 2019 I've been on my own in the truck except for a handful of Florida runs where she might come with to make a delivery, then bounce for the home 20. Little 4-7hr outing..

Point being is between her & the dog we were stopping ever 3hrs it felt like for a pee.. Alone I've caught myself bumping the 11 with the door still shut. Unconsciously dehydrated to keep movin' on..
Even recall a comment made by this kid Cane probably 22yrs ago.
We were at Wing house & he asked how I ate my entire steak sandwich without taking a sip of my drink? Just shrugged & said reckon I was hungry. Cane said he could hardly take a bite without washing it down. Figure people are just wired different.?

Anyway that's a long story to say I'm going to make a conscious effort to stay better hydrated. I do not want vital organs going south on me..

In my experience with broken housings. I had better experiences wire welding housings over any stick rod that you could try. I was repairing housings cracking under spring lands. Its cast steel, not iron. I believe I'd go .030,.035 wire. 3 pass lap weld and ship it. But let it cool slow.

Im the same way . cant take a bite without washing it down. Or always drinking water throughout the day. Just comes from working and growing up in arizona . U have to drink constantly . u have a heat stroke 1 time and thats enough. Its the worst sickness in the world. We always shipped one or two guys off a week every summer in the back of an ambulance because they were drinking but not enough... I have to be careful trucking because like u i dont drink much anymore cuz then u gotta stop and pee every 2hours and if im outside in the summer pulling tarps or whatever I feel the effects of dehydration and it sucks. i have to relearn how to drink a #### ton of water befors starting work... Thats the best way to stay hydrated is to be hydrated before you start outside. And water only. People try to drink gatorade and think its the magical cure. The sugar and sodium in it makes you more thirsty and dehydrated. Nothing wrong with it its a good pick me up at lunch time. But you have to keep drinking water constantly. Coconut water is good as well. But its really expensive nowadays

I always drink a bottle of water before bed and as soon as I wake up before my coffee. Still young enough to where I can drink a bottle and not have to piss in the night Lol

That is what i have to do as well. I dont drink much when driving but when i shut down for the day i usually drink about a half gallon to 1 gallon of water before bed... I can always tell im dehydrated on the road. Because i get home and go back to normal drinking and feel much better throughout the day.

Things I didn't think I'd miss but this is one of them. It's just once or twice a night, but still not like sleeping all the way through.
