Nope, thats a jackrabbit start moving the a-frame rearward, weight is too far behind the trailer axles, resulting in cantilevering the trailer tongue (and therefore the truck tail off the ground)
-
Straps tell the story that it was loaded and strapped like that, load didn’t shift. Looks like he loaded it tail heavy and got an education in physics when he got to that big crown in the road.singlescrewshaker, mjd4277, D.Tibbitt and 7 others Thank this.
-
And I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and think that he just left his first stop and dropped off the forward weight that explains that goofy load placement.

Put it in 4-wheel and hammer down!singlescrewshaker, D.Tibbitt, CAXPT and 4 others Thank this.

The slabs are strapped to a a frame that holds them. The a frame isn't strapped to the trailer. That's why the strap are still straight. To me it looks like he's on a little bit of a slope. I would bet he gassed it trying to get out and the frames slid back.
singlescrewshaker, ducnut, kylefitzy and 10 others Thank this. -
Thanks for clearing up my limited knowledge of open deck. To the layman, looks like they were strapped to the frame of the trailer and the product was where it was meant to be.
-
Sure about that? Looks strapped to the frame , not the trailer, which i guess is worse. Essentially 0 securement

No matter what he did, he did it wrong, which is good for all of us here.
InTooDeep, CAXPT, Hammer166 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Haha they did misspell it. I was going to look at his Safer info to see what was listed but forgot to check.singlescrewshaker, CAXPT and Kyle G. Thank this.
