you still out with norm or you in your own truck now?
my trainer was just telling me about norm aka grandpa last night
he has same dispatcher as norm has and we run hard as i know you did with norm
my trainers name is vaughn and he is also making this a very pleasant experience for me and we are having a good time running from place to place
my trainer just last night was showing me the monthly print out that millis puts in the terminals every month and pointed out norms truck number to me
of course was runnning the hardest but we arent far behind those numbers
sure beats sitting

i have been out about 1 1/2 years with conway did not get my liscense through millis the truck was too big for the mass course But I did run my butt of when i was with norm can't count how many times he has been driver of the month and at least once a driver of the year good luck with your career at millis i enjoyed my short time there

 

hello all beware EOBR are a comming just talked to my ole bud norm millis is considering electronic logs i asked norm if he was going to retire cause he sure can work a log book LOL once EOBR's come to a company good bye falsefying a logs or as i say creative logging

 

be careful. i worked for millis for 5 years had 1 accident and was fired ,they would not give me my vacition pay. at the time i was a driver trainer and was all company. i took it real hard to be let go like this.

 

New student driver going through MTI down here in Cartersville, GA. Have talked to several drivers and can't find any one with negative comments about the company. Can anyone suggest a good driver trainer to try and request? I have been around trucking all my life. Just need some help with double clutching and downshifting and possibly backing...we haven't done the backing on the course so not quite sure how good or bad I may be with it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Check out the Millis thread in the DAC section. Ask Baritone who his trainer was. He just finished their training a couple weeks ago.

millis has a good training corse but some of the trainers will use you and make you do all the driving and when you run your 11 hrs thy will have you run there hours to , when you get on your owen you can do a lot better on making money thay are good about getting you home when you ask but thy will have you back out there after 1 maybe 2 days at home just be aware of what thy say it is not what it all seems to be after a few mo.on your owen you will see. good luck to all you new drivers out there

 

i was with millis tranp for 6 years they were good when i started with them but they when down hill in the last 2 years the shops are very bad and the safety dept is a joke please think about going with them have a good day

 

Fixer have you ever worked for Millis? Your info shows you as a "WannaBe". How can you say they suck if you've never driven?
