How are you checking for power ..with a test loght or a multi meter
And what are you using for ground . ? Are you grounding each light seperatly ? or using 1 common ground for all the lights ?
I just fought the exact same issue on a 07 ..379 after alot swearing & testingit end up being a spade connection in the planel that the relay plugs intoOxbow Thanks this. -
I am using a multimeter, at the light plug I was probing the pos and neg of the plugs themselves. I guess the same for everything I tested, I just probed the neg and pos on the connector to the switch(I’m still a little confused on). Relays I just plugged in different ones and swapped them all around with all the lights on, not sure how to test those with multimeter. In your case was this after an install or did the lights just stop working one day?Oxbow Thanks this.

In my deal when I got the truck the previous owner had replaced the OEM roof lighrs with those stupid penny lights .. and the did not work so I tried to diagnose the problem before I replaced them.. but this truck had been hack up in the cab & engine wiring harness when I bought it so with the amount of extra lights the tard had added in the cab it cause alot of issues ..
I will tell you this .. a 2006.5 & 07 ...379 have a different wiring Schematic than pervious 379s and I started a thread .. I think it was in this fourm asking where the relay for the cab roof lights was located .. so if you find that it thread.it should help you.. I honestly can't remember the memember that posted the info but it helped me out alot .. I started that thread like 30 days or so agoLast edited by a moderator: Jan 4, 2023
Oxbow Thanks this. -
oh ok cool! I’m sure that’s where I must have saw the info lol. It looks like hell to try and pull the panel to look under and with my lights working before I didn’t want to believe that the issue could be there but I’m definitely gonna look at it today. In your opinion, how should I go about testing things with my multimeter? Appreciate you!Oxbow Thanks this.

That panel under the overhead consel it's not to bad there is a brace right in the middle for the overhead lights you have to deal with but all in all its not badOxbow Thanks this.

Might be easier to just rewire the dam thing ..
At least the cab lights in series and their own ground
One wire down the door post ( left side ) comes out right at the light switch ?
Mine is an early 06 Old dash with toggle switches.
Rockers may be a bit different on new dash.Oxbow Thanks this.
