My mystery air leak; could it be the leveling valve?

I went KW today and decided to have a look at any AG380's like mine. Turns out those bushings on the ends of the level rod didn't have any slop on the several I looked at. The bolts just flop around through the ones on mine. And they had a $15 repair kit for that - new bushings and a level rod that needs cutting to length, although I could probably re-use the old rod. They said set the ride height to spec then cut the new rod to length. Got a new level valve cause I still think mine is suspect. And the old fittings I re-used in the new air bags 2 of those were leaking but just barely, it can't be what's causing my bags to go down so soon. Got new fittings like I should have done in the first place. See if I can get it all worked out before lunch tomorrow.

It was a bad level valve. Put a new control rod on too. 3 Mexican Haldex down, 1 Chinese TRP to go. So these must be engineered to fail yearly or so and no-one makes them in the USA. But anyway I've got my old truck back. The one that could sit all month and not lose air. Fixed a lot of stuff it's like a brand new truck to me now.

Re-igniting thread:
Mybags fill to Max capacity...rod intact, no exhaust. Valve must be shot. -
We use the kd2205 leveling valve on almost every truck. We convert the ones without the kd2205 to the kd2205. They work good and are easily found at most places. Kd2204 is what we use if no dump is needed.

Always check the fan housing hub behind the engine fan. Build your air pressure up as high as you can then turn engine off. Then turn ignition key on but don't crank engine. Get out and raise hood and listen for any airleaks coming from engine fan area. ( Don't mistake any noise coming from fuel priming as an airleak). Also an airleak from behind the engine fan may not be detected if engine is running. Thanks.
