I found the problem, or at least part of it. The roof dash connect was behind glovebox, and was badly corroded right at the plug and the light side wires, along with a broken wire and other corroded ones on a plug having to do with the sleeper(can’t think of what exactly it said atm).
Would it be best to wire it to its own switch or to tap back into the marker light switch? I also gotta figure out how to wire a switch lol -
Why not just repair it to work like it’s supposed to?

Oxbow Thanks this.

Or mix up some Vinegar & baking soda in a small cup and soak the connector in it for 5 mins or so then scurb it with a tooth brush and spray it with contact cleaner and put some electrial grease in the conncector
Chances are if that pin is corroted there are more pins in the connector that are also
Personnally what you are doing is is just puting a Band-Aid on a problem you will have more problems in the future with that connector and the Band-Aid you put on it..I call that a hack job myselfOxbow and RocketScott Thank this. -
Can you post a picture of the connector?
If I've got the terminals I can mail them to you -
Sounds as if the windshield is leaking.
