Just got ok for hometime! Need a break. It is these little things that make it ok. I figure each hometime marks one more month off the calendar.
I can't seem to squeeze a 34, but keep ekeing by with just enough to get there.

yeah i know the feeling... i made it to my last 99 with 4 or 5 hrs to spare. Then sat here at the TA for my 34.

Geeze guys, whats a 34? The whole time out last time, I didn't get 1 reset in, just kept trucking a little bit here and a little bit there. The 7 drops in 3 days did help out some.

Nice.. Got my sweet preset.. Pick up in rochelle, I'll tom then head to wintertown, oh for drop fri.. Then hit solon, oh saturday for a drop in jonesboro, ar.. Then I'm heading home.. Then off to a mini vacation for three days and then getting a nice vehicle again!! Taxes really helped..
Hey bootlegger..where ya at bub? Ya make it okay? I guess I missed your call yesterday.. Either way.. Hope ya made that 99. -
Ya, made it okay. Didn't feel like fighting Chicago area truckstops in the late evening, so sittin at the hook in Hebron, IN. Got a 99 in Minooka tomorrow AM, then 01 in Wenona with a 99 in GA on Saturday.
Been enjoying the warm weather of south central Indiana, it's the furthest south I've been in weeks.
You missed my call because I missed making it. I'm terrible at phoning (and I was listening to old Gunsmoke radio shows from the 50's). You ever hear that Jimmy Buffet song "If the Phone Doesn't Ring It's Me"?Last edited: Feb 17, 2010

I still have it, but it's in a box, in storage, so the odds of me seeing it in the next couple of years are pretty slim. I tucked it away years ago so it wouldn't get damaged.

Wow, thread just died today. Hope that means everyone is either sleeping or running their butt off!!!

Were it that I had that much time. Last week my 14 ran dry on the off ramp (Truck parking across the freeway). Last night 10 minutes when I pulled in to Fremont, IN. Day before yesterday my 70 in the parking lot in Columbia NJ.
These are the closest, but the electronic logs do present a challenge on top of every thing else. Funny how HQ expects accurate time of delivery etc, but cannot forecast beyond this particlular run...or so it seems -

this should be interesting... last night roads were icy around columbus OH so I had to reduce speed and now behind on my load. Tonight I need to drive about 610 miles to my 99 in Carthage. which delivers # 1300, then followed up with my 01 100 miles away from the 99 to pick up my next load @1700, then 100 miles back to pick up the 2nd half of my load which still has no appt time yet. the 99 for the 2nd load also has no appt time just says it delivers 2/21 in denver. Then I get a QC from the planner saying that its a national acct and its critical that im not late. Looks like im going to be splitting my 10's for the next 3 days because of that ###### ice. I HATE Ohio!
