Fiery semi crash shuts down I-95 in Harnett County near Dunn, NC

That looks really bad but nobody was killed and thats a good thing. The truck driver had burns but it did not say how serious they were. I was delayed for an hour on Friday because one of those dually quad cab pickup trucks with the 5th wheel installed in the bed hit a few cars and caused a small pile up but no fire.

I see a lot more of those pickup truckers hauling everything from cars to containers and a lot of them are wreckless drivers.

 

Probably old hat for the experienced drivers, but in almost a year of driving I've been amazed at the number of wrecks I've seen that go far beyond the fender bender stage...like twisted metal and glass fragments all over the place.

Clear, sunny days too...no weather or visibility impacts to blame.

 

I see more and more and more idiots on their phones and am seeing more and more "self driving cars" where the idiots are full on watching TV. Hell passed a JBKunt truck yesterday where the driver had a tablet on the wheel watching something and kept drifting all over.
