No surprise there...did he roll it coming down the hill, or at the junction between I-24 and US27?

I paid my lease off about two years ago, but back then they would lease you a used truck with approximately 250K miles on it. (The reason for this was to try and keep your costs lower) I believe my lease was for approximately 40 months. (I paid mine off early) They take weekly payments out, I believe my truck payment was $624 a week. Your weekly fixed costs are a couple hundred dollars with various insurances, Qualcomm, ezpass, etc. They offer the National average fuel surcharge every week, and a great fuel discount in their network. (Last week I saved $159.49 off the pump price on one fill up.)

Maybe someone that is currently in the LP program can give you more solid numbers.

Good deal, I thank you for the info! If you don’t mind my asking, what’s the mileage rate on loads?

It’s on a sliding pay scale depending on the length of haul. If you go on FCCs website you can find all the information. It’s the mileage plus fuel surcharge.

    Skootlez Thanks this.

I have done them before, too. No problem with it either. If it keeps them from calling me at night When I am sleeping, then sure, I will participate. Been easy and Pleasant experiences too!

On Saturday morning after dropping my Kawasaki load in Goodlettsville the day before, went over to Lebanon TN grabbed a Bridgestone truck tire load going to Wayne NE, but had me t-call it at Fremont yard and shagged an empty to Lincoln, grabbed a dog food load going to Columbia SC for Wed. Wish I had enough hours to drop tomorrow but, oh well!
