Just to be honest, Canadas ELD regulations are 100% better than the USA. I wish we had the laws Canada had!
mikestime, Another Canadian driver and Magoo1968 Thank this. -
That’s true but the company has to be licensed as a Provincial Carrier and you (I’ve been told) can’t flip flop back & forth. A company I worked for a few years ago that does most of Canada started a second company under a very close rendition of the company name and licensed it under Provincial for the Alberta boys that Don’t leave.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
-
Yeah that's correct. Once a federal carrier, always a federal carrier. My company a few years ago switched from provincial to federal...we told them not to but they did.
Suddenly all the field service guys are having to run logs and scale because their give is over 4500kg.
The company figured this out after several field guys went past scales and got chased down and ticketed lolAnother Canadian driver Thanks this. -
That's right.I have driven several days unable to log into Issac but when the problem was corrected everything I had done was still recorded in the system so luckily my paper log was a reasonably close match.ilovetruckz, Another Canadian driver and Magoo1968 Thank this.

I finally was able to log in today, but get an error when I tried to use P.C mode.. This thing is trash.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
-
A lot of company's will disable the PC mode because it is abused.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
-
It's an Issac bug, it keeps you on duty for some reason now.. It would be a big fine to get caught being on PC and having a trailer hooked up I would imagine.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
-
You can PC with a trailer in the US but I don't think it's legal in Canada.Another Canadian driver, ilovetruckz and Magoo1968 Thank this.
-
That's correct, no trailers allowed when using PC in Canada. Have to bobtail it.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
