Exactly the right way to handle that situation. NOBODY in your company is going to worry more about YOUR LICENSE than you. If the company clerk forgets to pay the fine, or pays it late, it is the driver on the side of the road that can get arrested and spend the night in jail while all the people that work banker's hours, never on weekend and holidays, and only in one town are never even slightly inconvenienced as the driver is eating stale and smelly bologna sandwiches in East Addict, Nebraska county jail. You stand in front of the company's clerk desk until you have the check in your hand to pay the fine, no excuses and no trips while they work on getting that check from someone's office "tomorrow."

Suspended is one thing, but twice being cited for driving while suspended is going to be a big problem. That's a huge red flag to most trucking companies.

    tscottme Thanks this.

I can't imagine getting that past any insurance company. You may have to wait a few years.

Facebook and Craigslist both have trucking groups and maybe find a job there. Others with worse have found jobs there.

Waste Management and other refuse companies might hire you. They pay well and have good benefits.
GFL Environmental is another one. Depending on where you live, there may be 3 or 4 refuse companies.

I got my CDL suspended once for that reason. I got a ticket for expired tags. You have to make sure that's detailed in your application. Also if you haven't paid your fines, you'll need to square that away first. It'll be easier to get a job afterwards.
