What all drivers should do is if they take longer than x amount of hours to load/unload (let's say 4+ for example) when done say sorry you took soo long I am out of hours and it is unsafe for me to move my truck as I'm too tired.
If you want my truck to move you can pay for a towing to company to move me because it's your fault that you took too long.
If you think that's ridiculous, a few posts up a driver said he was up 24 hours and will get 2 hours of sleep before driving all night
I don't care how safe you think you are, you are a lot less safe not rested.
Got to stop these places from wasting our time and pushing us around on no sleep.
If they would carry enough staff, set appointments correctly and actually do their job there should be no issues gets trucks moved in timely manner.
The Lumper “experience” from my perspective, what's yours?

My only thought on the whole mess is, "you ordered the crap, why are you charging to unload it?" It's akin to charging FedEx/ UPS/Amazon for delivering to your house.
