Man I saw a book at the used bookstore a few months back and I’ll never remember the title, but it was about the stockyards in Chicago and the history of them and how dependent they were on the rail. Lots
of neat info and really cool pictures. I set it down to think about, came back and it was gone. It looked really interesting I wish I would have just held onto it, if nothing else to send it up to you. But yea man stuff like that is really interesting I totally agree.

Now that you mention it I've stumbled Across some really cheap used deeres lately , even an x500 someone was only asking 1200.00 for , but sadly my garage is full now and I've been spending lots of money on the truck lately .

My mother grew up in the the neighborhood known as "Back of the Yards". She said at the time they were on the end of the street closest to and from the 2nd story porch she could see the cattle waiting to be cheeseburgers. Also said if the breeze was right it could be along smelly night.

Sad day at Morehouse today .
My old east coast dispatcher Wes Kasper passed away this morning.
47 days ago he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer .
I really liked him as a person but not as a dispatcher.
    Sad day ...RIP Wes!

I got into that 4 or 5 years ago and then started in on the old Indian tribes and mountain men— recently started reading about the setting of South Africa — you’ll probably never turn on a tv again

I saw that video. I wonder how many people died from food poisoning from the meat coming out of those filthy packing houses?

I can tell that I'm getting older cause my heroes are dieing out faster. CSN or CSN&Y, were one of my favorite groups.

Truly sorry to hear that David Crosby has left us.

Makes me me flash back to "Rock and Roll Heaven ", and knowing that another member has been added.
