I worked for valley for about a6 months before family issues took me off the road.

they arnt a bad company, though try to stay away from clayton NJ runs unless your getting one on friday(they pay great going out, around 1600, but only like 300 coming back over the mountains). i averaged around 1000$ a week without busting my ### to get the job done.

my one piece of advice, when in doubt, throw another chain. They never mentioned anything to me about my securements, aside from the one where my chain broke after i left for the weekend.

I wish i didnt leave like i did, i wouldnt mind going back and working for them, but i did leave on "bad terms" in the sense, family issues arose, and i turned in my keys that friday after giving them notice monday morning.

also, make sure you are wearing pants when you pull into the yard. nothing better than hearing Jim ask where your pants are while your fueling up.
