I'm happy to hear about that 250 my old reefer outfit I still speak to a friend she gets 240 at magnum crete it's the take this loaner to circumvent paying drivers bs... I hear some drivers take loads and run out of their hos I have no clue about them some don't want to go to certain places some are lazy like dblv stated and won't driver over a low daily mile distance (have run into and heard the same from other drivers here both dry and wet)... I've never run out of hos and I don't take loads I can't fulfill or communicate b4 accepting to make sure there's a tcall or plan cause I know grabbing it to please the shipper is most important to maintain that account they'll figure out afterwords once in possession what to do... 2nd run back into commie for Nia and 2nd load giving up a full days driving (unless receiver agrees to day earlier delivery or early morning delivery or a tcall for a short 80mile run for some parked at Dennys all day bs!ng with fellow turtles how it's nice to take it easy (ain't nothing wrong with that but tun the runners or have tiers of planners that are dedicated to the runners that have a trustworthy dependable track record and communicate... but those are pipedreams here @newbietrucker91 surprised you didn't hold out for tanker work like rb stevenson or gemini motorsports or pilot or liquid bulking, Transworld, etc... keep the marten journey going
That's at our KC terminal a crete driver moving his things into his new marten tractor and dropped marten trailer I find it funny but big balls imo...
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

@RussianBearTruckeR ..this was on the ask & answer youtube video tonight..RussianBearTruckeR, nredfor88 and newbietrucker91 Thank this. -
That is literally 10x as much as I got from my last company when their ancient equipment broke down on me five times in a month. I know it sucks to sit, but it could be worse.RussianBearTruckeR, newbietrucker91 and nredfor88 Thank this.

I thought I would need to fight for the breakdown pay since im use to fighting for it at Crete/Shaffer. That's not the case here, since I was just credited $750 for 3 days of breakdown without having to say anything.
However they seem to have me playing musical chairs with trucks. The peterbilt I got into yesterday works fine but when I was getting loaded in Ft Worth, they asked me to drop the load back at the terminal and park. They looking at getting me into a slightly newer truck since the Pete im in, at 430k miles.Lonesome, RussianBearTruckeR, IH9300SBA and 2 others Thank this. -
Yup I'm the one who left that comment about what's needed here and of course some kneepad wearing driver sided with them and tried talking down to me with a comparison of crete being cherry pie... that's the issue this dogma of oh well that's part of being a trucker no clue about how to do math and realize we work a double shift basically 2 40 hour weekly work week or anything about inflation... anyways yea terninal coming to lake Wales fl land acquisition sought in Phoenix and indy for future drop lots or terminals and absolutely no money involved bumps coming cause we're the best company here... some knucklehead already peeler a dryvan trailer going under a low clearance bridge and getting hit with a 6k bill tulle driver supposedly tried blaming the professional GPS for the incident... 2 eyeballs for nothingIH9300SBA, dwells40 and drvrtech77 Thank this.

I drive for Crete and have talked to some of these drivers that only want 400 mile days, I don't get it. I want a many as I can get every day, and fortunately my asset manager knows that and keeps me rolling. If they could get me 600+miles every day I'd be ecstatic. Figured my miles at the end of the year and the way I figured I averaged around 490 miles per day for every day I was away from home. I don't think that's too bad as an average, because in trucking there are many days that just end up at less than thatcatdog45, dwells40, RussianBearTruckeR and 2 others Thank this.

There was one Shaffer driver. I ran into at the Nashville drop yard that explicitly told me that he tells his asset manager, that he will not drive past 1600 no matter what, but he has to be parked by then.catdog45 and RussianBearTruckeR Thank this.
