Got mine for 12,000 but moved to Great West from progressive. 4th year. All new equipment 23 Volvo 860 and 22 Utility dry van.
LoneRanger, Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this. -
Great West wanted to raise mine by $500. But actually it went down $400 when I pushed my agent to get a better rate, so I don't change it elsewhere. Mine is close to $9,500. It's going to be my fourth year as well. I have a Great Dane reefer and Kenworth T660. Not NEW.
Rideandrepair, TallJoe and Siinman Thank this. -
I mean that’s far from horrible for sure. I don’t see you ever getting below $7500 and as costs rise you’ll be doing good to maintain IMO. You could try raising deductible to $5000 like I do since I generally pay for any damages myself. Sounds like your the same.Beaver9, Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.

pretty sure I had mine at 2500 but that was when I first started and everything was tighter, I may check that now as mines right at 20k for everything.
don’t even want to know what you pay with as many as you haveBeaver9 and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
My renewal is in two weeks, I got a call from my agent today, same rate as last year so $23k without Hazmat and $40k with Hazmat class 2,3,4,5,6, and 8, my policies are 1 million Auto, 2 million general liability, 35k trailer interchange, 100k cargo, and physical damage coverage for my truck.
Beaver9 and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
My renewal was on the 18th, premium dropped a while whopping $400.00. The broker agent waived ALL all broker and misc fees cause she said I’m good looking.

.
Beaver9, Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this. -
Mine renews in March going into my second year. Anyone besides Progressive I can switch too in year 2 or am I still stuck with them?
Beaver9, Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
18k my 1st year of authority in 2022. Went down to 14.5k this year.... 1mil liability and 250k cargo.. progressive.
Beaver9, Phoenix Heavy Haul and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
You may try great west.. They seem to be the preffered among many owner ops in this forum.. Especially for anything outside of the normal general freight... Probably going to be hard to beat progressives price... Everyone i got a quote from wanted to double my rate from what progressive offered me...Beaver9, Phoenix Heavy Haul, Rideandrepair and 1 other person Thank this.
