F*** California- it’s grossly overrated anyway!

Hey, that's not nice. We have a real crisis going on here
...'A lot of people are leaving': California sees cannabis exodus
If this keeps up land prices might actually fall back to what they were worth before the pot growers invaded us.Jubal Early Times, Flat Earth Trucker, AModelCat and 3 others Thank this. -
If the “weed men” are leaving CA then it’s official-the state is in serious trouble!
Flat Earth Trucker and The Railsplitter Thank this. -
The folks running that state are running into the ground..destroying a what was great state to live in at one point…
mjd4277, Flat Earth Trucker, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this. -
They "partnered" with Prime Inc to be independent. Right...
Jubal Early Times and The Railsplitter Thank this. -
Haha, LoudTom, I hear ya! PRIME = Please Remember It's My Equipment, lol. That's what it used to mean, anyway...

Ditto... and this from an old school local born on the beach in that seaside ghetto, lol. Key word: it USED to be a decent place to live... but no longer! I'm glad I escaped from that Left Coast lunatic asylum 7 years ago, would've left earlier but I still had things to do there. Whether the gal in the story is just a shill for PRIME or not, she can join the club as far as the exodus goes. So many folks bailing outta that state, and that includes sane conservative types who have simply concluded that it's no longer worth living there. The overall cost of living is SO much less in other places... truck drivers contemplating relocation should read Joel Skousen's book STRATEGIC RELOCATION, that will give ya some excellent pointers about where to move. Combine those pointers with your job search if necessary, and check local listings too at places like Indeed.Com, which will give you some idea of the local job market. Just my $.02, from a hand livin' in the boondocks and lovin' it! No crowds, no traffic, no smog, virtually no crime, inexpensive housing and low property taxes, especially if you buy a place outside town limits. I bought a cool 3BR/2BA home on 1/2-acre (free & clear on all property), with trees galore and nice views, and my property taxes are roughly $100 per year, lol. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to do the math and figure it out... I even have off-street truck parking here, not that I need it anymore. Meh, I'm still glad I left Kalifornia, that move was lonnnnnng overdue 7 years ago, lol.
mjd4277 Thanks this. -
Growing up in Canada and seeing all those bad### action films from the 80s and 90s filmed in California, it looked like a pretty awesome place. I honestly have no plans to visit anymore, well except maybe the northern part, sounds like there's still some normal folks there lol.drvrtech77 and The Railsplitter Thank this.
