Van Horn, TX pileup

I left that area yesterday. Lot's of Ice everywhere in TX today so no surprise. I seen a Brand New T680 slide off a curve right in front of me. Nothing but ice and he must had been doing 60 trying to make that curve. Went strait the whole time and crashed into a field. Was thinking you are something special man. No common sense and brime water does nothing on these roads.

 

I was on ice pretty much all day,from Kaycee to Sheridan,speed limit was reduced to 45 in places.Made it to the border at Coutts,It was windy and icy.
Road was good when I got to the Montana border.

 

Hard to say, but he may have had some help. In the second pic you can see a tractor with the hood missing.

 

maybe it was a case of drafting gone bad !

 

I’ve rode part way on the shoulder many times,in those conditions.

 

Most of these people aren't that smart.

 

Dibs on the engine,that can be rebuilt!
