Patrons of NYC gay bar incapacitated and robbed of thousands via facial recognition on their phones

I don't know why people tie so much important information into their phones.

 

Facial recognition barely even works on this POS phone. Apple ruins everything.

 

Tried the finger print thingy a couple of phones ago. Didnt work worth a flip.

 

Never, ever use facial recognition. It's a privacy nightmare.

I have VERY few apps on my phone. I use the mobile site for everything, and all my passwords are stored in an encrypted file tied to an offline-only password manager.

You have to be smart about this stuff.

 

Mine worked great and it was quick and simple. However, the charge port cracked and that piece wasn’t replaceable. That forced me into this one which requires I look at it, wait on it to decide it doesn’t like my looks, then, I manually input my code. Futile.

 

Well, you’re electronically smart. I need to get smarter.

 

I regularly force it to eat *ss and smell farts, so I’m guessing a hard “NO!”. LOL!
