What auctions? I've been keeping an eye on RB and Taylor Martin auctions, and sleeper trucks like that are still going easy around $70k+, I've been looking at Volvos/Freightliners/Kenworth. They've come down but not nearly $30k range, at least from what I've been seeing, hopefully soon though

Freightliner has come down on some trucks. My buddy got into a situation and had to buy one. 2019 with 500K for $75K. Just A few months ago that was minimum $100K.

Every auction that sells trucks. I have not seen a sleeper truck go for over 40k in 6 months

Where's the free fuel truckstops between Oklahoma city and Austin, Texas anyone know? Gotta be somewhere along the route, if Trinity logistics is moving 45k of steel beams 363 loaded miles for $800... That's insulting. I thought my $1600 offer was rather cheap sitting on the load all weekend.

Not to mention she called me on it.

I'm not sure who's more crazy these days, the broker or the idiotic trucking companies moving these loads for cheaper than Toyota Prius Uber rates.

Well, F-it. Time to put the empty wagon to the wind.

Hi, my name is Matt. I am currently conducting a research project about O/O experience with Legal Services and Fuel Card Discounts. The project will help truck drivers better know legal services and fuel discounts. I need to interview some O/O with some easy questions about their experience. It will take no more than 10 minutes, and I can compensate for the time taken if needed.
Please, do not hesitate to contact me if you have more questions.

Man that is crazy! I dead headed 400 miles the other day and was planning on doing a 1000 before that #### storm kicked in. I had to take a load going south for not the best money but I had to have weight to get out of the #### area. Other wise I would had just drove empty home. Rates are a joke if you just play spot market and not know the area well.

Had a broker call me yesterday. Lansing, MI to Flint, MI, 60 miles, pickup Saturday 9.30am, delivery Monday 9.30 am. My yard is 60 miles away from Lansing.
Told him $1000, he flipped out. "$1000 for 60 miles??? We are at $350"
    Lol whatever

I'd say you aren't paying for the miles, ur paying to rent my equipment for 3 days.. Which my price for that would've been much different. Maybe gave him a heart attack. I got away from quoting stuff by the mile and rather the amount of time it's going to have my equipment tied up... weeds out the low ballers fairly quick, but on the downside its pretty easy to price yourself out of the market and not have any work at all.. Always walking on that fine line, especially in this down market.

Two years ago my truck breaks down while under a load for these scum bags that called me today on that ridiculous paying load...

I hire the towing company to bring a bobtail to the dealership after they drop my truck/trailer off so that they could take me to complete my delivery for Trinity logistics, obviously at my expense... but that's how I operate...

I'm not looking for special treatment or bust a nut rates but calling me with the load offer i posted above is about as ridiculous as can be even with the current market situation.

I sure was being real and completely honest with her after the $800 offer today by saying " We're on two different planets, and I happen to be on earth"

Just goes to definitely show as most know, NEVER show any form of loyalty to these SOB, they will chew you up and spit you out...

Be rest assured, if and when the tables ever turn again on load to truck ratio, don't let Trinity call me on a load, I'm gonna shove my rate so far up her ### she's gonna be seeing stars for weeks. I gotta good memory.
