if i recall, the switch to the high intensity lights came about many people ramming the vehicles with the old style incandescent lights, due to not being "able to see any lights".....
take into effect too, the weather conditions like heavy rains, snows, fog, and those incandescent lights were useless.
but yes, there should be some sort of toning down on the brightness, just like any of the other motor vehicles and thier super bright headlights and high beams....i find those more annoying than emergency vehicles, and then too, road construction night time lights, which the fools, seem to always point at us, rather than the projects they are working on.RockinChair Thanks this. -
