They will not touch a small guy... i tried to get a rental truck from them a couple weeks ago. And they want a 15k deposit and 1500 a week..Not sure if long term lease is different price. You also need to have a commercial address..
TheLoadOut, wis bang and Siinman Thank this. -
And since they tap your account directly you don't know it until the bookkeeper comes running in asking why so much this month.
Make sure you report the IFTA mileage and fuel for every 'free' substitute truck while yours is in the shop to eliminate just one of the sudden charges.TheLoadOut, D.Tibbitt and Siinman Thank this. -
I was also interested in it BUT $1500/week?!?!
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Don't buy junk.
The thing is people think that these companies have reserve trucks ready when the truck you lease from them breaks down. I have had to wait days before a replacement truck.TheLoadOut and Magoo1968 Thank this. -
The owners ran them into the ground long b/4 I got there.
Once we showed them the numbers, we gradually moved over to Penske two at a time. -
Penske or Ryder won't do a FSL to a one truck dog and pony show.
bzinger Thanks this. -
Had my used truck 2 years. Once the dpf issues was resolved once and for all, all I have done is brakes and tires. Modern diesel engines are shockingly reliable. Especially if you have a manual transmission.kros Thanks this.
