Elon Musk to build 100's of homes in Austin Texas for employees.

The Austin plant starts workers off at $20/hour and requires no experience but I'm told working at the plant is the same as working at a sweatshop.

 

Just what they need. More of everything.

 

True that. Actually looked up the job, and it's 12 hour shifts. 4 days on 3 off then it rotates to 3 on and 4 off.

$20 morning shift and $22 night shift and that's starting out through the staffing agency they are using for the production staff. Pay is more if hired on.

 

Yeah well there are a lot of people who hate Elon Musk so anything negative said about him or his companies should be taken with a grain of salt.

 

Yep that's true. A lot of negative reviews on the place are dumb like one was just telling him to leave Austin cause the plant looks ugly.

Wonder if that's why they can't get enough workforce? Even tho it's all the way in Austin they are advertising down in San Antonio and saying they offer a shuttle to the plant from San Marcos.

 

Austin is full of such. Complete 180 compared to San Antonio which is an industrial city.

A lot has to do with the number of California woke people moving over.

 

i'd not wanna live in a house built by Elon..hell, it might catch fire as easily as his cars do....
