The $20/hr pay with the staffing agency, isn't all that bad. In reality, the staffing agency is probably getting at a minimum near $10 per hour over that amount. It isn't uncommon for manufacturing to use staffing agencies. Weeds out all the high turn over for the client company itself. I am sure the pay is well worth it, for those that do the work and get hired on full-time.

Culver’s has a billboard in Richmond, IN, stating they’ll pay up to $20.50/hr, to start. I’d rather work at Culver’s. Or, better yet, keep driving a truck.

When I left in 2018, My EFFICIENCY 575 sq ft apt in north central austin was 900 a month. Plus utilities. I liked the place alot, it was quiet and the management was good. Not sure what its renting for now, probly at least 1200.
    Edit - just checked 1259 -
The austin I grew up in and remember is vanishing fast.

My niece worked in Austin for a couple years, then couldn't take all the Woke jerks living there and moved back to Tennessee. She's highly educated and made great money in Austin.

    Called and asked about hiring.

First you do a phone interview.

Next they schedule you for a 30 minute zoom interview with the agency.

If you pass that they then move you on to a 3rd in person interview but with a hiring manager at Tesla.

If my brother was still alive, I might have stayed. But, he wasnt, and my sister finally convinced Dad to move where she lived. Mom had moved back to Missouri in 2003 after her and dad got divorced. As I got older I evolved from a pot smoking beer drinking hippie to a Get Off My Lawn conservative lol

I understand that. I'm a big boozer and have been for decades. Unlike many, I prefer HOA's which means less likely lawn trespassing. It's rare to even see anyone outside their homes. It's so comfortable, it's like "Why should I even go outside, it's so comfortable and stress free here."

I wonder how that would go if the successful applicant went over to the production line speed dial and would it back lol. Trouble with thinkers is they think. Trouble with robots is they don't.
