I’d use the air horn. It only takes a few seconds to make that kid’s day and they’ll remember it for awhile. There’s been a few times where I’ve had a rough day and a kid motions for me to pull the horn. Every time, they smile and wave. It also makes my day too.

I remember when he built that deck and i pondered why he used pl construction adhesive and screws. Now i know. Man the low level bass those thinks kick out while being obnoxiously loud up close is unreal. He also built a fire pit with a rock crushing cone, #### thing is 8' across with a heavy grate at the bottom where he has a stainless air line to provide proverbial fuel to the fire. Retired dairy farmers are some pretty ingenious people!
Back on topic and a very cool story i couldn't wait to share. A young lad my sons age (12'ish) gave me the arm pump Monday evening and i don't know what the trucker etiquette is but i gave him one long 3 second solid blast and the smile on his face when he turned to mom ended the debate for me.God prefers Diesels, gokiddogo and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
I promised the neighbor kid I would let her blow my horn (she was about 6 at the time) because mom said some trucker didnt blow it for her. A couple months later I had the truck at the house and I stopped, got out, and went up to mom and said "I made someone a promise". Little did I know her 8 year old was having a birthday party....
I kept looking for the cops to show up, neighbors were coming out to see why the horn was constantly blowing. Finally she says "dont worry about it, my husband is a St Paul cop".SoulScream84, God prefers Diesels, 2Tap and 4 others Thank this. -
